专利说明:

The invention relates to a system for covering a luggage compartment of a motor vehicle.
It is known to provide a system for covering a motor vehicle luggage compartment, said system comprising: two lateral supports, a front flap hinged relative to said supports along a first transverse axis extending along the front edge of said flap, • a rear flap articulated relative to said supports along a second transverse axis, said second axis being slidably mounted longitudinally with respect to said supports, • a hinge connecting the trailing edge of said front flap to the front edge of said rear flap, said hinge defining a third transverse axis of rotation and being arranged so as to allow said flaps to rotate upwards, to move them from a covering configuration, where they are horizontally in the extension of one another, to a configuration of access to said compartment, where they are folded towards each other.
With such an arrangement, there is a problem of being able to pass simply and reliably the flaps of their covering configuration to their access configuration, and this in particular when said flaps are actuated by an actuating device comprising in particular a means of engine. The object of the invention is to propose an arrangement making it possible to achieve these objectives. For this purpose, the invention proposes a system for covering a luggage compartment of a motor vehicle, said system comprising: two lateral supports, a front flap hinged relative to said supports along a first transverse axis extending along the front edge of said flap, a rear flap hinged relative to said supports along a second transverse axis, said second axis being slidably mounted longitudinally with respect to said supports; a hinge connecting the rear edge of said front flap to the front edge of said rear flap, said hinge defining a third axis of transverse rotation and being arranged to allow said flaps to rotate upwards, to pass them from a covering configuration, where they are horizontally in the extension of one another, to a configuration of access to said compartment, where they are folded towards each other, said system further having the following features: • each end of said second axis is slidably guided by two respective guide rails mounted on each of said supports, said rails extending longitudinally, • the rear end of each of said rails is arranged so that when said flaps are in overlapping configuration and viewed in lateral view, the lower angle defined by a first straight line connecting said second and third axis and a second straight line connecting said first and third axes is less than 180 °, so a force exerted forward on said second axis rotates said flaps to pass them in access configuration.
In this description, the terms of positioning in the space (top, place, back, longitudinal, transverse, lateral, front, rear, horizontal, bottom, ...) are taken in reference to the system in place in the vehicle, the flaps being in overlay configuration.
The fact that the straight lines described above form an angle as defined makes it possible to initiate the rotation of the flaps, while they are in their overlapping configuration, simply by applying a forward force to the second axis. said torque inducing force allowing the expected rotation.
It goes without saying that the force to be applied to initiate the rotation will be weaker as the angle moves away from 180 °. Other features and advantages of the invention will appear in the description which follows, made with reference to the appended figures, in which: FIG. 1 is a schematic partial perspective view of a system according to one embodiment, the shutters being in overlap configuration, • Figures 2a, 2b and 2c are a schematic side view of the system of Figure 1, the flaps being in overlap configuration (2a), access (2b) and in extended access configuration (2c), • Figures 3a and 3b are partial perspective detailed views of the system of Figure 1, Figure 3a incorporating a flexible strip and Figure 3b being devoid of visualizing the worm.
Referring to the figures, a system 1 for covering a motor vehicle luggage compartment is described, said system comprising: two lateral supports 2, a front flap articulated relative to said supports along a first transverse axis extending along the front edge of said flap, • a rear flap 5 hinged relative to said supports according to a second transverse axis 6 - arranged here in the middle part of said flap -, said second axis being slidably mounted longitudinally relative to said supports, • a hinge 7 connecting the rear edge of said front flap at the front edge of said rear flap, said hinge defining a third axis 8 of transverse rotation and being arranged to allow a rotation of said flaps upwards, to pass them from a recovery configuration, where they are horizontally in line with each other, to an aud access configuration it compartment, where they are folded towards each other, said system further having the following characteristics: • each end 9 of said second axis is guided in sliding by two respective guide rails 10 mounted on each of said supports, said rails extending longitudinally, • the rear end 11 of each of said rails is arranged so that, when said flaps are in overlapping configuration and viewed in side view, the lower angle 23 defined by a first straight line D1 connecting said second and third axis and a second straight line D2 connecting said first and third axis is less than 180 °, so that a force exerted forward on said second axis rotates said flaps to pass them in access configuration.
In particular, the lower angle 23 is greater than 170 °, in particular of the order of 175 ° and in the embodiment shown by 179 ° approximately, which is sufficient to allow the beginning of rotation of the flaps 3.5 in the configuration of recovery.
According to the embodiment shown, the rear flap 5 comprises a lower projection 24 for making a lowering of the second axis 6 to obtain a lower angle 23 less than 180 °.
According to the embodiment shown, the access configuration corresponds to a raising of the flaps 3.5 by about 90 ° with respect to their position in overlapping configuration.
According to the embodiment shown, the ends 9 of the second axis 6 form laterally projecting fingers, the rails 10 being in the form of slots for receiving said sliding fingers.
According to the embodiment shown, the front end 12 of the rails is open so as to allow withdrawal of the ends 9 of the second axis 6 of said rails and a fold of a half-turn of the front flap 3 to benefit from a configuration of expanded access.
According to the embodiment shown, the system 1 further comprises a device for actuating the second axis 6 in sliding, said device comprising a motor means 13 mounted on a support 2.
According to one embodiment, a single support 2 is provided with a motor means 13.
According to the embodiment shown, the actuating device further comprises a carriage 14 mounted longitudinally sliding on the support 2, an end 9 of the second axis 6 being mounted - here rotatively along said axis - on said carriage, the motor means 13 being mounted to actuate said slide carriage.
According to the embodiment shown in Figures 3a, 3b, the rails 10 are in the form of slots and the carriage 14 is secured to a flexible strip 15 closing on itself to form a loop mounted in tension around two rollers 16 said rollers being rotatably mounted at rail ends 10, so that said band masks behind said slot.
The actuating device further comprises a worm 17 extending longitudinally, said screw being rotatably mounted on the support 2, said screw passing through a threaded hole made in the carriage 14 so as to allow it to move when it is actuated in rotation, said rotation being carried out by the motor means 13.
According to the embodiment shown, an end 9 of the second axis 6 mounted on a carriage 14 is removably, here by interlocking.
Such an arrangement allows disassembly of the flaps 3.5 of the supports 2 and / or allows a folding of a half-turn of the front flap 3.
In a manner not shown, the lower faces of the flaps 3.5 are covered with a backing layer, the hinge 7 comprising the fraction of said layer extending between said flaps, so as to form a flexible hinge.
In a manner not shown, the upper faces of the flaps 3.5 are covered with a location coating layer further extending on the slices of said flaps, the hinge 7 further comprising the fraction of said layer extending between said shutters.
According to the embodiment shown, the system 1 further comprises a fixed panel 22 mounted at the front of the front flap 3, said flap being rotatably mounted along its front edge to the rear edge of said panel so as to be articulated relative to the supports 2.
